Rain Fails to Dampen Spirits at Annual 11369 Picnic

Despite some rain and the threat of rain throughout the event, most Knights of Columbus 11369 members and family who said they were coming turned out for the annual council picnic at the Chestnut Hill Pavilion at Mill Creek Park on Friday August 10.

About 25 people enjoyed the feast, including hamburgers, sausage sandwiches, corn on the cob from Molnar’s Farm, and great side dishes prepared by our members and their wives.

(The rain made it a little tough to cook on the grill, but we did it!)

Despite being unable to play any games because of the weather, we enjoyed each other’s company!

The rain also gave GK Miros a great excuse for not letting us ride along in his fancy convertible!

Despite the rain on the outside, the food and K of C families stayed dry under the pavilion.
