Knights of Columbus Council 11369 recently made its 10-ticket-per-member goal with the Cash Bonanza Charity Raffle, selling 910 tickets this year.

On turn-in day, the number was at 868, but thanks to GK Pete Rich and family, another 42 tickets were purchased to make the goal.

It means an immediate $2184 for the council, plus an anticipated rebate check of $1911, for a total of $4095.

If the figures are correct, $4.50 of every $5 ticket sold comes back to the council.

Though none of our tickets ended up as winners in the May drawing, there were two winners from the Youngstown Diocese, including one from Liberty Township.
